Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a hands-on HPLC Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair HPLC/LC/UHPLC systems across pharmaceutical and analytical laboratories in Oxford and the South of England. You will install, calibrate instrumentation and provide technical support to customers, working autonomously in a varied multi-vendor environment.
The role includes planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and travel across the UK with occasional European travel.
Qualifications
- Hands-on HPLC/LC/UHPLC service, maintenance and fault-finding experience.
- Field Service Engineer or analytical instrumentation background.
- Experience with Waters, Agilent, Shimadzu, Thermo Fisher, PerkinElmer or similar equipment advantageous.
- GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, spectroscopy or laboratory gas-generator experience advantageous.
- Comfortable working independently and travelling regularly.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, fault-find and repair HPLC, LC and UHPLC systems.
- Install, commission and calibrate analytical laboratory instrumentation.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Provide technical support and equipment training to customers.
- Work autonomously across a regional field-service territory.
