Xstrahl is seeking a Graduate Production Quality Engineer for our Brownhills, UK site. You will develop build manuals, write work instructions, and perform system sign-offs on medical X-ray systems.

Expect to spend 1–2 days weekly on the production floor, capturing hand-on knowledge to document processes and support CAPA/NCR work. You will learn the manufacturing and qualification processes in a regulated medical device environment, with potential growth into broader manufacturing engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic or related engineering.
• Clear written communication to translate technical processes into instructions.
• Organised with careful records and attention to detail.
• Hands-on attitude and eagerness to learn how systems are built.
• Willing to take ownership and complete tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain build manuals and work instructions for each system.
• Test draft instructions on the production floor and update as needed.
• Carry out system sign-off activities including electrical and mechanical checks.
• Log, progress and close NCRs, CRs, PFRs and CAPAs.
• Spend time on the production floor to build and understand each system.
• Support process improvements and handover of new builds from R&D.
