Job summary

Xstrahl in Brownhills, UK is seeking a Graduate Production Quality Engineer to help build manuals, run on‑floor testing and manage quality paperwork. You will learn how the medical X‑ray systems are built, tested and commissioned, working alongside an experienced Production Project Engineer on site.

This graduate role offers hands‑on exposure to NCR/CR/PFR processes, sign-offs, and process improvements within a regulated medical device environment, with training and future growth into broader

Qualifications

• A degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic, manufacturing or a related engineering or science subject.
• Clear written communication with ability to produce step-by-step instructions.
• Organised with attention to detail and accurate records.
• Willing to learn on the production floor and take ownership of tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Own build manuals and work instructions for each Xstrahl system.
• Test draft instructions on the production floor.
• Carry out system sign-off checks (electrical, mechanical, physics).
• Log and close NCRs, CRs, PFRs and CAPAs.
• Spend time on the production floor to understand build processes.
