Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Fire Alarm Service Engineer for a static on-site role at a major facility in Ashford, Kent. The role focuses on servicing, fault-finding, and maintenance of fire detection and gas suppression systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and client communication.

You will join a dedicated on-site team, receive training, and contribute to continuous improvement while working to high standards of QEHS compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with fire detection and fire alarm systems.
• Experience in service-focused environments.
• Knowledge of gas suppression systems and their maintenance.
• Familiarity with fire legislation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and fault-find on fire detection and alarm systems.
• Receive training in gas suppression and mechanical systems.
• Carry out integrity testing and complete service documentation.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain permits to work and ensure site procedures.
• Attend mandatory training and support on-call rotations.
