Job summary

Hoggett Bowers is seeking a commercially focused Financial Controller for a UK-based subsidiary. The role reports to the Group CFO and works closely with the Managing Director, requiring a minimum of 3 days on site.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ PQE, strong leadership, manufacturing finance experience, and the ability to partner with local management and Group colleagues. Pharmaceutical/healthcare/cosmetics experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years PQE in a manufacturing/industrial finance environment.
• Experience partnering with local management and cross-functional teams.
• Pharma/healthcare/cosmetics supply chains advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function at subsidiary/site level.
• Support Group objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting.
• Maintain UK statutory and tax compliance.
• Responsible for banking, treasury and risk management.
• Collaborate with Group Finance and other entities to share best practice.
