Job summary

Amey is recruiting for a permanent Facilities Team Leader at HMP Hatfield, Doncaster. The role is site-based, full-time with a 39-hour week and a 1 in 3 weekend rota, including an additional 15% allowance on weekends.

It involves leading facilities services and ensuring safety, compliance, and service delivery across the establishment. You will work with prison management to understand needs, supervise a team, and drive structured compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management leadership and compliance
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements for a busy establishment
• Experience using a Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of statutory and mandatory compliance across the establishment.
• Supervise the delivery of facilities services, ensuring contractual commitments and required standards are met.
• Promote and monitor safe working practices to protect colleagues, contractors, premises and equipment.
• Work closely with prison management to understand requirements, manage expectations and maintain effective service delivery.
• Organise and monitor compliance activity, records and priorities in a structured and timely way.
• Escalate problems and concerns promptly, helping the team achieve an effective resolution.
