Amey is offering a permanent Facilities Manager role at HMP Hatfield, Doncaster. You will manage the buildings and estate, ensuring statutory compliance and audit readiness, while leading a multidisciplinary team.

This site-based, 39-hour week role places you at the heart of safe, efficient, and compliant operations. You will drive performance, build strong customer relationships, and deliver on health, safety and environmental standards, with a clear path toward regional leadership

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or building management in a similar operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory and mandatory compliance, including audits.
• Proven ability to lead a sizeable multidisciplinary facilities team.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and workplace policies.
• Clear, confident communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Five years’ delivery of hard facilities management services.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation and strategic management of buildings and estate for the customer.
• Maintain statutory and mandatory compliance and prepare for external audits.
• Lead and develop a facilities team including employment and performance management.
• Build strong customer relationships and collaborate with the establishment to deliver safe, efficient services.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental requirements are understood and followed across the site.
• Drive performance against KPIs and help the team understand their contributions.
