Job summary

Westmorland Hotel is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee Support Services teams, ensuring a safe, compliant environment across sites. The role covers daily to monthly cleanliness schedules and requires coordination with the Safety team to maintain 100% compliance.

The position is on-site with flexibility for a 24/7 rota and emergencies. Ideal candidates will have strong planning skills, experience in property fire safety, and excellent communication with internal teams and external

Qualifications

• Knowledge of property health and safety, preferably with a management system.
• Experience managing fire safety in property environments.
• Project management of small to medium projects.
• Practical building maintenance expertise.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Highly organized with strong planning and attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
• Calm under pressure and able to prioritise urgent issues.
• Hands-on, on-site role with 24/7 availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Support Services teams to maintain a safe, compliant environment.

• Audit building safety and work with Safety team for 100% compliance.
