Job summary

Dragados UK & Ireland seeks an Environmental Advisor to support on-site delivery of the project’s environmental strategy. Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will help embed strong environmental practices across the delivery team, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 systems.

You will maintain Environmental and Energy Plans, conduct site inductions, and collaborate with construction, design and commercial teams to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in Environmental Science/Management or related Engineering field.
• Graduate Membership of a professional body (e.g., ISEP) working toward Associate/Practitioner membership.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in construction environmental management.
• Experience interfacing with regulators and major infrastructure clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project's Environmental and Energy Plans and CEMP.
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks on environmental responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Construction, Design and Commercial teams on mitigating environmental risks.
• Conduct regular site inspections and compliance checks.
• Promote proactive environmental culture across the project.
• Act as point of contact for site regulatory visits and interactions with regulators.
• Produce clear environmental data to support performance and risk management.
• Maintain environmental documentation, permits, consents and waste records.
