Job summary

Dragados UK & Ireland is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support on-site delivery of the project’s environmental strategy and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 systems. The role requires active on-site presence to embed a culture of environmental responsibility across the project delivery team.

You will work with construction, design and commercial teams to ensure environmental risks are understood and mitigated, and you will maintain environmental documentation and data for

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline such as Environmental Science or Environmental Management.
  • Graduate membership or progression towards Associate/Practitioner is advantageous.
  • CSCS card or equivalent site safety qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance of Environmental and Energy Plans and CEMP compliance.
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and briefings on environmental responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with construction, design and commercial teams on environmental risk mitigation.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and assurance checks for high-risk activities.
  • Promote an proactive environmental culture across the project and supply chain.
  • Liaise with regulatory visits and stakeholders to maintain good relationships.
  • Provide clear environmental data to support performance and risk management.
  • Maintain permits, consents, waste records and audit findings.
  • Assist in implementing practical mitigation strategies for risks.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement.
