Job summary

Nova Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Technician (Electrical Controls) for a Renewables client in the North West. You will cover sites in Preston and Warrington, providing day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair support to generator sets and gas processing plant.

You will work closely with the Engineering team and Operations staff, with on-site servicing, on-call cover and a focus on safety, accuracy and continuous skills development.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with electric control systems 12V DC – 415V AC 3ø.
• Hold full UK drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and locate and rectify issues on generators and plant.
• Perform planned maintenance on generator sets with minimal outages.
• Support Operations staff during servicing and assist with breakdowns as needed.
