Job summary

Nova Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a generator company in Scotland. You will service and maintain large diesel generators on renewable energy sites across the UK, performing fault finding and routine servicing.

The role requires an electrical or mechanical qualification, strong customer focus, and a full UK driving license. You must be willing to travel, work on-call and liaise with customers, OEMs and internal teams to complete reports and timesheets.

• Electrical or mechanical qualification required.

• Willingness to travel UK/Worldwide and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned service and maintenance on customer generators.
• Perform remedial repairs & load bank testing.
• Carry out panel upgrades and fault finding on complex sets.
• Communicate with customers, OEMs and internal teams on progress.
