Job summary

CL Electrical Controls Limited is seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager to lead on-site electrical projects from tender to completion. You will plan, budget, allocate resources, and manage client relationships across the South West and beyond.

The role requires overseeing teams of electricians and engineers, ensuring safe practices, quality standards, and timely delivery while supporting continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in electrical contracting or project management, ideally within BEMS or commercial/industrial electrical installations.
• Knowledge of UK electrical regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices for installation, testing, and inspection.
• Proficiency in contract administration, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning for multiple concurrent projects.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to lead teams and collaborate with clients, suppliers and site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation projects from tender through to completion, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate electricians and engineers to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Review technical specifications, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with standards.
