Job summary

The Lanes Group, the UK's largest independent provider of water and wastewater solutions, is seeking a Drainage Assistant in Glasgow to join our depot teams. You will work in two-person crews on blockages, pipe cleansing and reactive call-outs, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Full training in high-pressure water jetting, confined space and spill response will be provided. We welcome internal and external candidates; benefits include pension and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage/utility work is preferred.
• On-site training in high-pressure water jetting and safety.
• Ability to operate machinery with good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Attend drainage issues such as blockages and pipe cleansing.
• Work in two-person teams to respond to calls.
• Provide reactive call-out support as needed.
