Job summary

Careline Lifestyles - Wilkinson Park is seeking a reliable Domestic Cleaner to join our on-site team in Harbottle, Morpeth. The role focuses on creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents.

You will perform cleaning across bedrooms and communal areas, uphold infection-control procedures and help maintain residents’ comfort and dignity. DBS checks are required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic cleaning or care environments is advantageous.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, order and resident comfort.

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, communal areas, furniture, windows and equipment to a high standard.
• Maintain hygiene standards and infection-control procedures.
• Handle waste and dispose of it safely and appropriately.
• Follow safe working practices and report faults or hazards promptly.
• Store cleaning materials safely and keep storage areas tidy.
• Attend staff and resident meetings and participate in training.
