Job summary

Hemiko Ltd. is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the Worthing district heating installation works from installation through commissioning.

You will report to the Project Manager and ensure safety, quality and programme across all live work zones on a high-risk site. The role requires on-site full-time presence, a strong background in district heating pipework and deep excavations, and experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on a live public site.

Qualifications

• Experience in district heating pipework installation and deep excavation works.
• Knowledge of NRSWA street works requirements and supervisory accreditation.
• Proven ability to manage Permits to Work, RAMS and CDM 2015 compliance.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS certificates.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on live public sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and embed Hazard and Near Miss reporting on site.
• Issue and manage Permits to Work for high-risk activities.
• Oversee all active work zones and monitor progress to plan.
• Coordinate installation works with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare RAMS, toolbox talks, site inspections and incident reporting.
• Maintain daily site records, QA packs and reports to Project Manager.
