Job summary

Iomart is hiring for an on-site Operations Technician at our Maidenhead Data Centre. You will own day-to-day data centre activities, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure operating systems, and monitor performance to keep services running smoothly.

This role requires a hands-on, customer-focused approach and the ability to work rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations. You will join a growing team delivering secure cloud, connectivity, and enterprise-grade services

Qualifications

• Hardware experience including Cisco networking gear.
• Experience or knowledge of OS installation.
• Strong understanding of customer service.
• Able to work on a shift basis, 24/7 support.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site operations at the Maidenhead Data Centre.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across technologies.
• Install and configure operating systems and monitor performance.
• Respond to alerts to maintain reliability and uptime.
• Provide 24/7 support on rotating shifts with a customer-focused approach.
