Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Wokingham, GB seeks an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site support of mission-critical infrastructure in premier data center facilities.

Responsibilities include hardware installations, cabling, server racking, and coordination with NOC and clients; candidates should have 2+ years in data centers or IT infra, strong English communication, and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Data center or IT infra experience required; on-site work a must.
• Network and cabling skills with familiarity for structured deployments.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
