Job summary

Bell Building Projects Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our on-site operations across diverse refurbishment and new-build projects.

You will lead QA programmes, audits, and issue resolution, collaborating with project teams and driving compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and industry standards, with Procore training provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Golden Thread of Information requirements (essential).
• Ability to configure and tailor quality assurance systems to BBP’s requirements, with Procore training provided.
• Experience in construction quality assurance or a related field.
• In‑depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing QA programmes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, materials, and workmanship, identifying and addressing quality issues.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to establish and maintain quality objectives.
• Provide guidance and training to teams on quality assurance best practices.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports and compliance certificates.
• Monitor and track quality performance metrics, analysing data to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality assurance.
