Job summary

Tioxide is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for capital investment projects at the Greatham site. The role ensures delivery in line with safety, regulatory and engineering standards while controlling schedules, costs, quality and site risk.

You will act as the site-based authority for the Capital Projects team, translating designs into safe, efficient installations that support growth and reliability at the site.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering/Construction.
• Significant experience delivering construction in chemical, petrochemical, heavy industrial, or COMAH environments.
• Proven track record delivering capital projects from planning through handover.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary contractors and teams.
• Knowledge of SAP PM and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and safe execution of construction activities across capital projects.
• Lead contractor selection, mobilisation and performance monitoring against safety, quality, productivity and schedule targets.
• Champion a safety culture and ensure compliance with CDM, COMAH and EHS standards.
• Develop and manage detailed execution, shutdown and commissioning plans with Project Engineers/Controls.
• Verify inspection and test plans, manage punch-lists and support handover and closeout.
