Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Ltd, on behalf of Tioxide Materials Ltd, seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site activities at the Greatham, Hartlepool facility. You will drive capital project delivery safely, coordinate operations, maintenance and engineers, and manage contractor performance to meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires strong CDM knowledge and experience in heavy industrial environments, with accountability for safety, quality and documentation throughout

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience delivering construction in chemical, petrochemical or heavy industrial settings.
• Proven track record managing capital projects from planning through handover.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and safe execution of construction across capital projects.
• Mobilise and manage contractors, monitor safety, quality and schedule.
• Champion safety culture and ensure CDM/COMAH compliance.
• Develop execution and commissioning plans with Project Engineers.
• Ensure conformance to engineering specs and maintain project records.
• Foster cross-team relationships and support site infrastructure strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and contractor performance.
