Job summary

Lawtech Group Ltd is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee on-site delivery of works to time and budget. You will liaise with QS, H&S, ISO, and other managers to ensure successful project delivery across cladding remediation contracts in London and the southeast.

You will support the site manager, coordinate labour and materials, maintain quality standards, and keep comprehensive records in line with legislation and company policies.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification/experience in construction-related discipline.
• Background in cladding/facades.
• Completion or ongoing NVQ in construction-related discipline.
• CSCS card required.
• SSTS beneficial.
• QCQA a must.
• EWI experience beneficial.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of specified works and workforce to meet productivity, deadlines and budgets.
• Assist with delivery of works to programme and communicate requirements to the workforce.
• Coordinate labour and material requirements across works to ensure efficient use of stores and resources.
• Liaise with project manager/QS/buying to place orders and manage material deliveries.
• Maintain relationships with client staff, stakeholders and other parties. Take ownership of management of works within remit.
• Understand scope and manage resources to deliver works on time and budget.
• Maintain information to assist delivery of works and communicate to workforce.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Keep records and ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
• Work with management and departments to manage sub-contractors, costs, and costs.
• Work with H&S to ensure site safety plans and required assessments are in place.
• Collaborate with ISO and Design & Quality to ensure service delivery across works.
• Assist resident liaison and customer service to resolve issues.
• Monitor workforce performance through objectives and plans.
• Raise and resolve contractor and sub-contractor issues; attend meetings.
