Job summary

Lawtech Group Ltd, Leicester, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in delivering cladding remediation projects on time and within budget. You will coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors, maintain documentation, and ensure safety and quality standards on site.

You will liaise with QS, H&S, ISO and other managers to ensure seamless delivery, build client relationships, and uphold regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent qualification/experience in construction-related discipline.
• NVQ in construction-related discipline is desirable.
• CSCS card required; SSTS and QCQA are beneficial.
• Competent user of MS Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of specified works and workforce to agreed productivity levels, deadlines and budgets.
• Assist with delivery of works to programme and communicate requirements to workforce.
• Coordinate labour and material requirements for efficient use of stores and resources.
• Liaise with project manager/QS/buying department to ensure timely orders and maintain documentation.
• Maintain relationships with client staff, stakeholders and third parties; take ownership of management of works within remit.
• Manage resources to deliver works to time and budget; ensure information is accurate and communicated to the workforce.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure contract requirements are met by the team.
• Keep complete records in line with legislation and company policies; support cost management and procurement processes.
• Work with H&S to ensure site safety plans, risk assessments and COSHH are implemented.
• Engage with ISO and Design teams to ensure service delivery quality across works.
• Support resident liaison and customer service to resolve issues to residents’ satisfaction.
• Monitor workforce performance and address non-compliance as required.
• Attend site and management meetings; stay updated with industry regulations and company procedures.
