Job summary

Places for People is seeking a part-time Porter to join the on-site team at St Leonards Terrace, London. You will help keep the development safe, well-presented and welcoming for residents and visitors, while supporting site security and safety checks.

You will work with the House Manager, cleaning teams and operations colleagues, assisting residents and visitors and contributing to a courteous customer experience. There may be flexible start/finish times and reduced hours to suit circumstances.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services such as concierge or caretaking.
• Emergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to assist residents and visitors and work with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day site security and monitoring access as required.
• Assisting with health and safety compliance checks across the development.
• Being a visible presence on site and assisting residents and visitors when needed.
• Supporting the on-site cleaning team with additional tasks as directed.
• Working closely with the operations team to ensure accurate information sharing.
• Responding to incidents or emergencies in line with procedures.
• Contributing to a positive, professional customer experience across the development.
• Providing information to the Property Manager on a daily basis.
