Job summary

Staffline is seeking an On-Site Canteen Chef in Bodmin to run a busy canteen, cooking hot meals and preparing fresh foods for morning and evening shifts. You will ensure hygiene, stock control, and smooth service for staff and visitors.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with hours from 9:30am to 2:30pm. A strong emphasis on cleanliness, HACCP compliance, and positive customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial or corporate catering environment.
• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook high‑quality meals for the canteen.
• Serve meals to staff and visitors in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Manage stock, check deliveries, rotate stock and place orders within budget guidelines.
• Maintain strict cleanliness; follow HACCP and health regulations; log temperatures.
