Job summary

Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT) seeks an experienced Document Controller for the Oxford, Oxfordshire project. You will manage project documentation within the Asite CDE and ensure smooth workflows from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Document Controller on major construction, engineering or infrastructure projects (must-have).
• Extensive hands-on experience using Asite (non-negotiable).
• Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Strong understanding of document control processes and best practice.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation within the Asite Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Upload, track, distribute and archive documentation in accordance with project procedures.
• Control document workflows, approvals, transmittals and distribution matrices.
• Provide support to project teams with document management processes and resolve queries.
• Monitor document status and ensure timely completion of approval cycles.
• Maintain accurate document registers and generate reporting metrics.
• Liaise with engineering, commercial, design and construction teams to maintain compliance.
• Support multiple stakeholders to ensure all document control requirements are met.
