Job summary

Selwood Limited is seeking a Mobile Fitter to join our Saltash branch, covering the surrounding region. The role involves pump maintenance at the branch and on customer sites, with added on-call payments and overtime opportunities.

The position requires a Safety-first mindset, a valid UK driving licence, and a willingness to work flexible hours including on-call shifts. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience with engines or mechanical engineering background
• Experience in plant environment on site with customers and in workshop would be beneficial
• Willingness to grow within the role and take on training opportunities
• Full UK driving license (6 points or less)

Responsibilities

• Work safely as a priority with PPE knowledge
• Communicate accurately with colleagues and customers
• Obtain signatures/names from sites for task processing
• Maintain good housekeeping in work areas and vehicles
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports for safety
• Carry out tasks as instructed or trained in a timely manner
• Understand and follow company policies and procedures
