Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at Lakefield Neurological Centre in Chigwell to keep the service, buildings and equipment safe and fit for purpose. You will work with an established team, carry out on-site maintenance, garden tasks, and liaise with contractors to support upkeep.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a maintenance role.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Respect residents to ensure high quality service.
• Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service facilities, buildings and equipment to ensure fit for purpose.
• Utilise DIY skills to maintain safety of residents.
• Assist in regular checks and maintenance.
• Assist in repair and maintenance of buildings.
• Liaise with manager and report faults.
• Participate in 1 week on-call rota for emergencies.
• Coordinate with contractors and complete paperwork and tool checks.
