Job summary

Thames Valley Police is seeking a facilities maintenance role in Amersham to support the upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment and fleet within a defined area. You will assist with Health & Safety compliance, fire alarms and water testing, and work from a rostered on-call schedule across the force region.

The role requires good numeracy and literacy, IT literacy, and the ability to prioritise and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Good numeric and literacy skills.
• IT literate in Microsoft Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment and fleet across a specified area.
• Monitor heating, cooling, site security, cleaning and vehicle fleet administration.
• Provide an on-call service on a roster basis for a region of the force.
• Comply with Health & Safety legislation including fire alarms and water testing.
