NATS is the UK’s leading air navigation service provider, delivering critical engineering support at Luton Airport. This Duty Engineering Officer role focuses on fault diagnosis, maintenance and on-call rotation to keep ATS systems operational.

You will prioritise faults, supervise contractors, ensure safety compliance, and provide on-the-job training while upholding safety and quality standards. Some relocation between locations may be required.

Qualificações

• Engineering qualification at least HNC Level 4 in electronics, telecoms or CS.
• Alternative routes include apprenticeship with proven engineering experience.
• Experience with safety-critical systems and audits is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Act as focal point for reporting and managing operational engineering systems on shift.
• Prioritise faults and direct resources to restore service safely and quickly.
• Maintain competency ratings and provide guidance to customers and management.
• Supervise watch-keeping staff and contractors to ensure compliance with NMS.

Higher National Certificate (Level 4) in Electronics / Telecommunications / Computer Science

Alternative: Apprenticeship plus demonstrable engineering experience
