The London Borough of Bromley is seeking an Information & Advice Generalist Adviser to support older people, carers and families with welfare benefits, housing and care queries.

You will deliver high-quality, rights-based advice, carry out benefits checks, assist with claims and appeals, and help clients understand their rights to enable informed decisions. The role is office-based with travel between Bromley and Greenwich locations, and a mix of face-to-face, phone and email appointments.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in providing rights-based advice.
• Experience delivering welfare benefits, housing and care advice.
• Comfortable working in an office environment and travelling between Bromley and Greenwich.
