Example Recruitment Group is seeking a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Norwich area for a local Housing Association contract, performing servicing, fault finding and repairs in social housing properties.

The role includes landlord gas safety checks (CP12s), adherence to Health & Safety, a 40-hour week with overtime, a van and tools provided, and a salary of £42,000–£48,160 with a £50k+ OTE.

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer.
  • Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances with strong fault-finding/diagnostic skills.
  • ACS qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1.
  • OFTEC qualifications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • DBS check to be carried out on offer of employment.

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well‑established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Norwich area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local Housing Association contract.

Responsibilities
  • Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
  • Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
  • Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
Qualifications
  • 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
  • Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault‑finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
  • ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
  • OFTEC (Oil Qualifications)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
Package
  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Overtime paid at hourly rate
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
  • Salary: £42,000 - £48,160 per annum (DOE)
  • Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer
