Job summary

Example Recruitment Group in Watford is seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to service, inspect and repair domestic gas appliances within social housing properties under a Housing Association contract.

You will carry out annual gas safety checks, fault finding and maintenance, with CKR1/HTR1 qualifications, a clean DBS, a full UK driving licence, and a strong commitment to health and safety. Van and tools are provided, plus overtime and a pension.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with gas qualifications.
• Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, with strong fault‑finding, diagnostic, and repair skills.
• In‑date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK driving licence
• Clean criminal record; DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment

Example Recruitment Group is partnering with a well‑established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. We seek a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Watford area. The successful candidate will carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.

Salary & Benefits

• £40,000 per year, with OTE £50,000+ per annum
• 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday); overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates
