Job summary

Rotork UK is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales in the Oil & Gas sector across the North of England. You will conduct site surveys, engage with operators on site, and review installations to tailor solutions while expanding the customer base regionally and into overseas territories.

You will deliver technical sales support, maintain strong customer relationships, and work closely with Application Engineering and back-office sales teams to quote on projects and present Rotork products.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in manufacturing with a proven track record.
• Knowledge of sales techniques.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Technical sales or service engineer background with experience of providing onsite quotes to customers.
• Knowledge of valves and actuators.
• Experience of working within the Oil & Gas industry or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales against targets (direct or with distributors).
• Provide technical advice to customers.
• Develop new and existing customers in the region and overseas territory.
• Conduct onsite surveys, review installations and measurements to provide solutions.
• Perform customer visits and maintain excellent relationships.
• Collaborate with Application Engineering and Customer Services on sales activities.
• Demonstrate Rotork products and provide familiarisation training.
