Job summary

The Oil and Pipelines Agency is seeking a Depot Manager for the Oil Fuel Depot at Garelochhead, Helensburgh. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Depot, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering fuel to MOD and Royal Navy stakeholders.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will lead maintenance, safety initiatives, and HR aspects in partnership with the HR function, with occasional travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil/petroleum storage operations.
• Strong knowledge of CoMAH and PSLG requirements.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive safety culture and compliance across sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the OFD at Garelochhead and manage maintenance and compliance.
• Ensure Safe Systems of Work and regulatory compliance (CoMAH, Defence Maritime Regulations).
• Lead site security, emergency planning, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Engineering Teams and Health, Safety & Environmental Team.
• Travel to other sites as required and manage HR issues with the HR function.
