Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager for a children’s residential home near Quinton, West Midlands. You will lead daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a safe, therapeutic environment for young people with complex needs.

The role requires Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for residential childcare, plus strong leadership and safeguarding skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for residential childcare.
• Experience in managing children’s residential services with complex needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the home ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
• Create a safe, nurturing, therapeutic, person-centred environment promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Provide supervision, coaching and development for the staff team.
• Develop and review individual care and support plans for young people.
• Build partnerships with families, local authorities, healthcare professionals and education providers.
• Maintain safeguarding, quality governance and risk management standards across the service.
• Support education, health and preparation for adulthood for the young people.
• Promote life skills, community engagement and positive experiences.
