Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager for a children’s residential home in Solihull, West Midlands. You will lead operations, ensuring compliance and high-quality care for young people with complex needs.

Role focuses on supervision, safeguarding, and partnership work with families, authorities, and professionals. A Level 5 leadership qualification and Level 3 Childcare are required, with a salary up to £65,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or senior leader in a children's residential setting.
• Experience supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
• Strong governance, safeguarding and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the children's home, ensuring CQC compliance and safe practice.
• Create a nurturing, therapeutic environment that promotes wellbeing and independence.
• Develop and supervise a skilled staff team through coaching and CPD.
• Oversee personalised care plans and partnership work with families and authorities.
• Maintain high safeguarding standards and drive quality assurance.
