Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is supporting a Sandwell-based, Ofsted-registered children's residential home in West Midlands. We seek an experienced Registered Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring safeguarding and high-quality care for children and young people.

You will develop staff, implement individual care plans, and build strong partnerships with families and professionals, while driving governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised childcare qualification (Level 3) and Level 5 Leadership & Management for residential childcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC regs, legislation and policies.
• Create a safe, therapeutic, person-centred environment promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Lead, mentor and develop the staff team through supervision and CPD.
• Develop and review individualised care plans that meet each young person’s needs.
• Build partnerships with families, local authorities, healthcare professionals and education providers.
• Maintain high safeguarding, quality assurance, governance and risk management standards.
• Support young people’s education, health, emotional wellbeing and transition to adulthood.
• Promote meaningful activities and community engagement to boost confidence.
