Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in Solihull, West Midlands. You will ensure regulatory compliance, person-centred care and positive outcomes for young people.

The role requires Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for residential childcare, plus strong leadership and safeguarding acumen. It is a permanent full-time position with daytime hours and a competitive salary of

Qualifications

• Qualified in childcare with Level 3 Diploma.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for residential childcare.
• Experience as Registered Manager or senior role in children's residential care.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
• Create a safe, therapeutic environment promoting independence, wellbeing and outcomes.
• Develop staff through supervision, coaching and development.
• Develop and review individualised care plans for each young person.
• Build partnerships with families, authorities, healthcare, education and teams.
• Maintain safeguarding, quality assurance, governance and risk management.
• Support education, health, and meaningful activities for young people.
• Promote community engagement and life skills.
