Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. seeks a skilled Technician to maintain the Robin Rigg offshore wind farm. Travel by boat to turbines, work in a small 12-person team, with 11-hour days and 7 days on/off shifts. Must live within 30 minutes of Workington and join a safety-focused environment.

Experience in mechanical, electrical, power electronics and hydraulics is essential, with good HSSE knowledge and strong communication skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, power electronics and hydraulic maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex turbine systems.
• Capable of working in a small team with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of HSSE and safe work practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Minimise faults and maximise energy yield through proactive and reactive maintenance.
• Servicing, inspections, modifications and retrofits.
• Use SCADA and other systems to troubleshoot turbines and schedule maintenance work.
• Be flexible with hours, on-call outside normal hours and may travel to other sites.
