Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a skilled Technician to support the Robin Rigg offshore wind farm. You will join a small team, travel by boat to turbines, and perform proactive and reactive maintenance to keep energy yield high.

The role requires comfort with 11-hour shifts, 7 days on/7 days off, and being within 30 minutes of Workington. DBS check is required; commitment to HSSE standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, power electronics, and hydraulic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Ability to work effectively within a small team with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Minimise faults and maximise energy yield by proactive and reactive maintenance.
• Servicing, inspections, modifications and retrofits.
• Utilise SCADA to investigate turbines, reset faults and plan maintenance.
• Occasional travel to other sites and on-call outside normal hours.
