SLB is seeking a Well Engineer in Aberdeen to plan and support drilling and well construction programmes within the Mariner project. You will contribute to well design, risk management and execution readiness, coordinating with SLB teams, operators and third-party service providers to ensure safe, efficient delivery across the project lifecycle.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to petroleum, mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering.
• Extensive experience in drilling engineering, well engineering or well construction within oil and gas.
• Experience developing drilling programmes, well designs and operational procedures.
• Strong understanding of drilling operations, well construction and risk management.

Mansioni

• Support planning and engineering design of drilling and well construction programmes across the Mariner project.
• Develop and review drilling programmes, procedures and well barrier schematics.
• Coordinate deliverables across service lines and third-party providers.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and feasibility studies to optimise delivery.
• Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies throughout planning.
• Support casing design, well architecture development and drilling execution planning.
• Act as interface between SLB, customer and providers to ensure alignment.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables across disciplines for safe construction.
• Support execution readiness activities and quality documentation.
• Provide technical support to drilling operations during execution.
• Support planning and operations teams to deliver project objectives.
