Job summary

GE Vernova Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support reception, storage, and release of materials while ensuring safe and efficient logistics for offshore activities.

The role requires experience with warehouse tasks, ERP/WMS systems, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Based in Swansea, the candidate will work within a multicultural team, handle multiple tasks, and respond to weekend calls as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Experience using ERP/WMS systems.
• Valid Forklift and Stacker Licence.
• Experience or knowledge of dangerous goods storage.
• Electrical or mechanical education and/or relevant experience.
• Oracle / ERP knowledge and experience.
• Strong management and operational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls at weekends.
• Willingness to work off-hours and weekends as required to support the business.
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check goods for accuracy, quantity, and damage.
• Store products in designated warehouse locations and maintain stock counts.
• Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch.
• Prepare orders for shipment and load delivery vehicles safely.
• Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe following 5S and Lean Principles.
• Support continuous improvement projects within the operation.
• Work autonomously within defined procedures and coordinate with other teams.
