Job summary

Oceaneering International Inc. is seeking a technically skilled professional to provide offshore support for Subsea Robotics, intervention, workover controls, and surface equipment on a worldwide basis.

This role focuses on installation interfacing, complex troubleshooting, and system upgrades across global operations. The ideal candidate brings experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and is willing to travel offshore and on-site up to 30% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Related industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience and/or training in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Willingness to travel offshore and on-site up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide offshore assistance for installation and interfacing of Subsea Robotics equipment including ROV Systems, Subsea Tooling, Workover Control Systems, Tensioner and Reel systems.
  • Provide offshore assistance for complex troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Provide offshore and onshore assistance for Subsea Robotics system upgrades.
  • Provide offshore technical support for critical and high profile jobs.
  • Assist in training offshore personnel.
  • Assist sho p and yard personnel with troubleshooting questions for all equipment.
  • Assist software groups with research, suggestions for improvements, and deployment of new software releases.
  • Test new potential equipment from vendors and communicate test results.
