Job summary

Oceaneering International seeks a Technical and Operations specialist to provide offshore installation, interfacing, troubleshooting and system upgrades for Subsea Robotics equipment worldwide. You will support ROV systems, tooling, and control systems across projects.

The role requires willingness to travel offshore up to 30% and strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge, with ability to work offshore and onshore with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Related industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willingness to travel offshore up to 30% of the time

Responsibilities

• Provide offshore installation and interfacing support for Subsea Robotics equipment including ROV systems and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and repair offshore equipment.
• Assist in upgrades of Subsea Robotics systems offshore and onshore.
• Provide offshore technical support for high-priority jobs.
• Support installations with System Installations and winch drum changes.
• Help rebuild and maintain good client relations.
• Aid in training offshore personnel.
• Assist shop and yard staff with troubleshooting questions.
• Participate in FAT when requested.
• Assist SCM with technical queries and obsolete parts recycling ideas.
• Support software groups with research and deployment improvements.
• Test new vendor equipment, track tests, and report issues.
• Create docs and flowcharts for offshore crews and onshore techs.
• Maintain ShareFile library of troubleshooting docs.
