Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks an offshore Site Technician to support converter-station operations at night. You will conduct inspections, basic maintenance, and practical tasks, reporting faults promptly while coordinating with electrical, mechanical, logistics and HSE teams.

The role runs on a 12-hour night shift with a 14x14 rotation, starting 1 November 2026 and ending 30 November 2027 (possible extension).

Qualifications

• Previous offshore experience preferred in wind, oil & gas, marine or similar environment.
• GWO training including Enhanced First Aid, offshore medical and Chester Step certification.
• HUET with CA-EBS certification and Slinger Signaller training considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, equipment checks, and basic maintenance across offshore converter station.
• Carry out minor repairs and housekeeping to maintain safe operations.
• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance under offshore supervision.
• Monitor equipment and report defects or abnormal conditions.
• Support logistics and handle deliveries, tools, and materials safely.
• Participate in drills and emergency-response activities.
