TEXO Recruitment invites a Project Engineer to support planning and delivery of offshore cementing equipment installations, based primarily in Aberdeen. This 3-month temporary contract covers project coordination, technical documentation and installation support, with occasional international and offshore travel as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Ability to obtain BOSIET/HUET and OGUK medical certification, with training provided.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Mechanical and Autodesk Inventor.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling software and point cloud data.
• Experience using Microsoft Project and offshore projects.

Responsabilités

• Assist with rig surveys using manual measurements and 3D laser scanning (training provided).
• Prepare technical reports, project schedules, installation procedures and certification documentation.
• Produce and review equipment layout drawings and P&IDs.
• Support the planning, removal, installation and commissioning of cementing equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, rig owners, installation teams and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, costs and resource requirements.
• Assist with Bills of Materials, technical specifications and basic engineering calculations.
• Support equipment procurement, inspection, preparation and mobilisation.
• Review commissioning and testing results and document lessons learned.
