The Greater Wash (GRW) unit of the North Sea Region (NOS) has responsibility for the safe and efficient operations of the Dudgeon (402MW), Hywind Scotland (30MW) and Sheringham Shoal (317MW) offshore wind farms. As part of the NOS strategy to realise value from establishing geographical hubs, Great Yarmouth will serve as the central operations base from which operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for both Dudgeon and Sheringham Shoal will be managed. The new model will establish a shared logistical concept whereby a Service Operations Vessel (SOV) and Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) are used to carry out operations. Operations on the assets will be carried out under a common set of safety rules and resources will be given the necessary training to be able to work across both wind farms enabling greater flexibility. Integrating the two assets will set up the GRW for further scale and value creation and growth opportunities such as the Dudgeon and Sheringham Shoal Extension projects. The applicant's primary role will be to support operations at the Dudgeon offshore wind farm. The position is based offshore on a Service Operations Vessel (SOV) and follows a 14-days-on/14-days-off rotation, working 12-hour shifts throughout each offshore deployment period.
