Offshore / Onshore Electrical Technician

Position Overview

As an Offshore / Onshore Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and commissioning hydraulic and electrical equipment, ensuring safety and operational standards are met. This role involves working at our Thainstone workshop and traveling to offshore sites for equipment servicing and repairs.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect, test, repair, and prepare equipment for solutions and client projects.
2. Perform maintenance activities, document procedures accurately.
3. Commission new and pre-mobilization equipment.
4. Complete reports, timesheets, and customer satisfaction forms.
5. Provide technical support during mobilizations and on-call situations.
6. Coordinate with offshore client representatives for planning and execution.
7. Participate in risk assessments and review meetings, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in repair, maintenance, and testing, preferably with subsea equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
