Job summary

Shell UK is seeking an Operations & Maintenance technician to oversee safe and efficient operation of offshore installation plant and equipment on the Southern North Sea assets. You will maximise production, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and resolve anomalies with frontline problem solving.

You will lead safety practices, work with onshore teams, and participate in audits while maintaining competency profiles and adhering to platform procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in Instrument Maintenance alongside Operations is an advantage.
• Technical Custodian Instruments (TCI) and Control Room Operators (CRO) will also be advantageous.
• Willing to develop into the role if required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant and equipment to maximise production and meet targets.
• Investigate anomalies and perform front line problem solving.
• Lead safety activities and ensure Shell Health and Safety standards.
• Administrate isolation, permits, and work packs.
• Liaise with onshore teams to align status and requirements.
• Operate and monitor installations and respond to emergencies as directed.
